Our speaker this month was Charlie Agar, AKA “Charlie Bee.” His beekeeping journey began 7 years ago while living in the northern part of the United States. He has since moved home to Texas and has become an avid beekeeper. Charlie has a honey production business and also removes stubborn or Africanized bees. He and his business partner will be featured in an eight-part PBS-Austin series this fall.
