Landscaping with Natives 101

Have you dreamed of having a garden full of flowers? Do you want to bring color to your yard, but don’t know where to start? Are you looking to create habitat for pollinators like hummingbirds and butterflies? It’s easy to get all of this without breaking the bank or using much water, you just need to plant native. And best of all, no green thumb is required!

During this beginner’s workshop, you’ll learn from experts with the Native Plant Society of Texas – New Braunfels Chapter about the lowest maintenance, but beautiful, native plants you can enjoy, and get tips on the best plants for your yard conditions. Stick around after the class for a tour of Headwaters to see a native landscape at work.

All participants may bring a basic sketch of their yard, including the direction and relative amount of sunlight the area you would like to improve receives. All participants will receive a starter plant and/or seeds.
