Limiting Deer Damage in the Landscape

The biggest surprise to many folks new to our region is the unexpected presence of deer and how they damage our landscapes. While deer will eat anything if they’re hungry enough, there are some strategies that help deter them, including tricks of effective limited fencing. Discover what to plant–the plants deer love, don’t care for, and hate; how to arrange your plantings to discourage browsing; and how to protect plants from Autumn buck rubbing.
