Come to the San Antonio Botanical Garden in February to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of orchids, where you’ll uncover the unique adaptations, ecological roles, and diverse beauty in one of the largest plant families on Earth. From their intricate pollination strategies to their vital partnerships with fungi, discover how these extraordinary plants thrive globally.
Experience the vibrant beauty of Orchid Colorburst, featuring hundreds of blooming orchids, unique installations, and rare species in the Lucile Halsell Conservatory. Immerse yourself into interactive events, including family friendly “Celebrate Orchids”, educational classes, guided tours, and a market with local vendors offering orchids and plants. The Garden Gift Shop will also have orchid-themed items and unique souvenirs available throughout the exhibit, tours, and a market with local vendors offering orchids and plants.
